Our next stop was France. We traveled by ferry, which was more like a cruise ship. We did not get to enjoy it much because there were high seas and it was best to stay in your seat. We arrived in France at night, slept at a nice hotel, then made our way to Normandy, Omaha beach, Mont-Saint Michel cathedral, Chateau des Dames "Chenonceau", and Chambord hunting lodge which had a marble double helix spiral staircase designed by Leonardo DeVinci; then on into Paris for dinner. The next two days we toured the city, did some shopping, went to the Eiffel tower, Palace Versailles and the Louvre Museum.
