Our last stop is in Venice. We finished a full day in Paris with Versailles and the Louvre, grabbed dinner to go, picked up our luggage and boarded the bus that would take us to the train to Venice. We ate at the station while we waited the hour to board. Our cabins were small with six bunks in each, just enough room to lie down and we had 12 hours to ride. With no shower we slept (most for 8-9 hours) we had to wait to arrive and Jacs got motion sickness. We arrive and get ready to board the boat that will take us to the island of Lido where we will drop our bags because the rooms are not ready yet. We embark on a tour of Venice and Saint Mark's cathedral. The tour lasts only two hours and we have the rest of the day to ourselves. This is not good for Pinky and Jacs who both went back to the hotel feeling ill. We had a nice dinner and the next day in Lido, everyone was well and we had the morning to shop before we departed for Lido for the planes home.
